Diet Motivation Tips To Lose Weight

Here are a couple diet motivation tips to lose weight with. Most people fail in their diets because their willpower overcomes their motivation. So I’d like to take the next 2 minutes to share with you how to stay motivated during your weight loss journey.

Diet Motivation Tips

1. Have a goal

First things first. You need to have a goal and keep that goal visible daily. Whether you want to lose 10 pounds, 2 dress sizes, 3 inches from your waist… whatever. Out of sight, out of mind. So you need to keep that goal visible to help “keep you honest”. Attach the sheet to your mirror.

Then, every time you see it when you go to the bathroom, ask yourself “has what I done in the last 3 hours gotten me closer to this goal or not?”. Heck, you can even put a jar there and have to pay $1 every time you answer NO.

2. Have a deadline

Ok, this is crucial. You need an endpoint. You need a conclusion to this. What I’ve found with my clients is that the one who are most motivated to lose weight have some sort of vacation or a wedding they’ll be at within weeks or months. That’s the deadline. Look good by then. It’s all or nothing. Either you lose the weight or you don’t. Whenever you feel you’re struggling or about to have a problem on your diet, you think to that “big thing”… regardless of what it is. It doesn’t have to be a wedding or a vacation to a beach.

If you truly think about what I just said, you’ll realize that these 2 diet motivation tips will help you to lose weight and keep your mind on track.
